Porous Structure and Handling
The porous BioSphere® Flex granules and carrier are designed to absorb bone marrow aspirate. Once fully hydrated, BioSphere® Flex offers an increased tensile strength and becomes flexible and moldable to aid in surgical placement. The porous carrier is designed to accommodate bone marrow aspirate. |

Innovative Granule Design
BioSphere® Flex SP Granules are composed of spherical particles of bioactive glass that are bonded together. The sphere packing creates a 100% interconnected porosity within the granules that supports bone formation. |

Collagen/Sodium Hyaluronate Carrier
The bioactive glass granules in BioSphere® Flex SP are suspended in a porous collagen/sodium hyaluronate carrier. This allows bone marrow aspirate absorption throughout the entire implant. |
